Christmas in the City
Christmas in the City is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, whose mission is to support Boston's homeless families. What began as an effort to help make memorable holidays for those in need has expanded to year round programs to help families make the transition from homelessness to independent living. Canton Catholic beckons you to join in and volunteer with us. Here you will find the true meaning of Christmas.
Each year, Christmas in the City strives to come through with tremendous success for the needy families of Boston. Due to Canton Catholic's steady establishment of themes, decorations and crafts our 150 volunteers put smiles on the faces of over 4,000 children and adults in crisis situations. Thank you to all volunteers who are taking part in this year's weekend events! A special thanks to all those who planned and rounded up all the supplies for the events! A very special thanks to Kristen DeSisto who every year oversees and organizes the planners and volunteers!!!
